Kanazawa is often referred to as "Little Kyoto" for its well-preserved Edo-era districts, samurai heritage, and gardens. The city also has some wonderful whisky bars.

Classic Japanese style cocktail bar. A very stylish upscale space. Beautiful glassware.

Other bars

These are other bars I visited, but do not recommend. Some I would visit only under specific circumstances such as going with a large number of people, or if I were in the area. But most are simply not worth visiting or a bad experience.

Furansu Cocktail Bar

They are trying very hard, but mostly fails. The staff speaks english very well and it is easy to order.
