San Diego loves its speakeasies. It has collectively decided that stirred cocktails are called “direct.” I feel like there are more bars in San Diego than ever offering craft cocktails, but fewer than ever that actually serve a good cocktail.

The lobby bar was my favorite. It is stunning. Perhaps the most beautiful space in San Diego.

Convoy Music Bar
You enter from the alley strewn with garbage bins behind Obrien's and look for red "On Air" sign. Cocktails are pretty good. Fun place to have a drink.
